• 1) The Redline 1501C is a full-featured, compact multi-needle embroidery machine in a lightweight package. The machine is capable of processing almost any garment at speeds up to 1000 SPM. Due to the unique combination of features and price, this embroidery machine is the perfect companion for people who want to start an embroidery business or upgrade from a smaller machine.
• 2) I bought a Redline 1501C in February. works great. The company is very easy to work with. If I have questions they are answered immediately.
• 3) I have looked at Redline because I would need to pick up a second head, maybe even one of their 2-head machines. My concern is that the company/machine hasn't been around long enough to establish a good track record. It's hard to say how well they would perform in a real business environment like a Tajima or Barudan machine running 8-10 hours at least 5 days a week for years.
• They have a couple Facebook groups, one for owners and one for viewers. I'm a member of both and they let me stay on the owner's page because I give good advice and don't throw away their machines even when I don't own them. They use Tajima basketball hoops, which I believe are at least partially made in Japan. They claim the machine is mostly metal, very little plastic, and is easy to operate"
• 4) I've owned a Redline 1501 for two years now and have yet to have any problems with it. This machine is a great beginner's machine. The techs are always quick to answer my questions or fix any issues I have. Their YouTube videos are also very helpful. I prefer to solve problems when possible rather than spend hundreds of dollars on technology.
• 5) I own a couple of these machines at the same facility where I see Redline assembling single head 15 gauge and double head 15 gauge. We also own the brother pr60 (the first machine). The "Redline" is a similar machine to the Tajima, just with different electronics. These electronics are made by the second largest electronics factory in China. This manufacturer produces good quality machines compared to some other Chinese brands. If you were to embroider the same design on a Redline or a Tajima, you would not be able to tell which was done by which machine. （The embroidery (which we have tried) is very good. Definitely better than the Brother pr. Is the Tajima better than the Redline? Maybe, but how much better? A Mercedes may be better than a Ford, you can still drive from A to B. You still need to sell a lot of embroidery to make up the difference.
