"270" refers to the ability of you embroidery machine to sew on the sides of the cap. most OEM "270" cap frames are full circle.This means your cap driver will rotate "270" degrees (some refer to this as "290" also). If you machine does not have the ability to sew on the sides of the cap then you have an older standard cap frame and will take the original"BLUE" cap frame.

P&F Cap Press - $550.00

This new press can be an option for shops that are still having trouble stretching caps by hand. By taking the stress of pulling a cap by hand off of the operator, this press does all the hard work by the use of a foot pedal stretching assembly. Also by stretching with your foot this allows the use of the operators hands for placement, adjusting, and clamping the cap frame.

This press can work with all standard OEM (not 270) cap frames and gauges.The 270 cap frames are full circle and do not allow access to the back of the cap. For the best benefit we recommend using the EMS HoopTech Cap Frames and gauge.

There are two major problems when sewing cap:

Stretching the cap - This is resolved and made easy by using the Cap Press .
Holding the cap tight in the frame - This is done by using the patented HoopTech Cap Frame
